We are seeking a passionate and experienced South Indian Chef to join our team, bringing authentic flavors to our customers and elevating their dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide variety of dishes, including traditional South Indian breakfasts, biryanis, Indo-Chinese dishes, and tandoori items.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation, quality, and presentation.
- Manage kitchen operations, including prepping for the day, cooking meals, and maintaining a clean working environment.
- Be available for early starts before the restaurant opens, particularly for catering party orders and special events.
- Work efficiently and maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborate with management on menu innovation and seasonal dishes.
Skills & Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of South Indian cuisine (especially breakfast dishes like dosa, idli, vada, etc.), biryanis, Indo-Chinese dishes, and tandoori.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional kitchen experience as a chef specializing in South Indian food.
- Ability to handle large catering orders and work under pressure.
- Strong work ethic and time management skills, especially for handling party orders.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
