A fantastic Opportunity has arisen for a self motivated, driven Business Development ManagerThis is for an International well established company for their UK and Ireland Business. This company brings  together the traditional values of a family-run company and the international career development opportunities of a globally operating group. They  are looking forward to developing this further together with you. This is a field-based position with a requirement to attend the Milton Keynes Head Office on a frequent basis (approximately 2-3 times per month).  This is a national coverage role.Business Development Manager – Logistics & Non-Food Sectors (Field Based)Role Overview: As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding our presence within the Non-Food and Logistics Market Sectors. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring seamless integration of our solutions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development:
    • Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.
    • Prospect, qualify, and close new sales opportunities to achieve quarterly sales targets.
    • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (such as product development and customer support) to ensure alignment and delivery of solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Sales Execution:
    • Initiate contact with potential clients, set up meetings, and conduct compelling product demonstrations.
    • Present customised solutions to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value propositions and benefits of  UK products and services.
    • Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
  • Market Expertise:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
    • Continuously improve knowledge of  products and services to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the Non-Food or Logistics sectors is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey complex technical information.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset to evaluate options and drive results.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  •  Experience in a similar role, preferably within the capital equipment or technology solutions industry.
