Impact Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a an established manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes. They are looking to recruit for a Powder Coater to join them ASAP!
Role: Powder Coater
Location: Milton Keynes
Shift: Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm, Friday finish at 4pm
Pay Rate: 12.55 an hour
Duties:
- Set and operate the Powder Coating plant with precision and care.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Control and adjust machine settings to maintain production rates and quality.
- Follow safe working practices and standard operating procedures.
- Challenge non-conformances and support the introduction of effective countermeasures.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance to maximize line availability.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Accurately document results and process-critical information for data analysis.
The ideal candidate must:
- Proven background as a Powder Coating line or Paint Shop Operator.
- Strong understanding of Powder Coating procedures and practices.
- Excellent powder coating abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to change and varying situations.
- Strong communication and data entry skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Physically fit with stamina and strength.
- Honest, respectful, and demonstrates sound work ethics.
