Business Development Manager/Director Foodservice

The Client:

A leading European brand, now sold in 50+ countries in the world.They have an engaging story to tell with strong brand values, a leading-edge culture and realistic career opportunities.They are looking to further invest in the UK market with plans to double their revenue in the next few years.To facilitate further growth, they are looking for an ambitious and hungry individual who can help develop the Retail/FMCG market in Scotland.

The Role:

This is a realistic opportunity to develop an established global brand in a market that has a strong desire for the products that you manufacture.They already have a strong foothold within the FMCG/Retail sector, it will be up to you to develop the Foodservice/OOH sector for them. You will be given plenty of support from a sales and marketing perspective but it will be up to you to size the market, profile the potential customer base and create opportunities with medium to large Foodservice/On Trade clients.

You will find the culture to be really open, friendly, collaborative and fun!Dont expect to find a large corporate environment with extensive teams for each business department.They are at the early stages of UK growth with turnover of around £25m this year.The plan is to double revenue each year for the next few years at least.

The Person:

Its likely that you are a proven Business Development Manager/Director with a track record of winning new logos and exceeding your sales quota within the Foodservice/On Trade sector.

The Rewards:

A basic salary of around £60 70,000 is on offer along with a realistic bonus scheme and company car/allowance.Full benefits package.
