We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components and parts. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of machining processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up CNC machines including loading raw materials, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for each machining operation.
  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts within specified tolerances and quality standards.
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and equipment.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality requirements.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
  • Familiarity with software such as Adobe Illustrator and Solid works
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience with machining materials such as metals, plastics, or composites preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and machining processes.
