Day to Day of the role:
- Greet learning groups arriving by coach, providing a friendly welcome and directing group leaders on site entry procedures.
- Supply groups with necessary information for their visit and manage coach movements upon arrival and departure.
- Record accurate group information in the booking system and handle all related paperwork with adherence to data protection and GDPR.
- Resolve any issues with learning spaces before group arrival and support the Learning Officer as a contact point for Session Leaders and Volunteers.
- Distribute schedules, itineraries, and replenish learning resources as needed.
- Handle telephone enquiries and assist with general administrative duties for the Learning team.
- Reliable, conscientious, and dependable with a willingness to embrace change.
- Approachable with excellent interpersonal skills and a readiness to assist others.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently, and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- IT literate with a logical approach to work and numeracy skills.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
Desirable experience includes:
- Working in an educational setting, tourist attraction, or similar environment.
- Customer care training.
- This role requires a significant amount of standing and walking, and a smart appearance is essential as it is public facing.
