Customer Service Advisor

Tate are delighted to be supporting a globally recognised retail and commercial bank to hire a number of Customer Service Advisors. This position plays an important role within their Financial Crime team and offers you an exciting opportunity to join their business.

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and able to deal with queries first time?

If your answer to the above questions is yes, you have strong experience within a customer service environment, and you have the confidence to deal with a mixture of inbound and outbound calls, then we want to hear from you!

What will your day look like?

  • Inbound and outbound calls with both personal and business customers as well as 3rd parties answering Remediation and Financial Crime queries.
  • Ensuring great quality calls with customers, the focus on is the customer experience more than how many calls are taken per day.
  • Using various systems to ensure all queries raised are fully answered, ensuring the account is updated to reflect the conversation.
  • Taking ownership and appropriately question callers to fully understand the nature of the query, to ensure full resolution.
  • Identify vulnerable customers, or customers facing financial difficulties, and transfer these calls to the dedicated internal teams.
  • Achievement of Key Performance Indicators.

Experience Required:

  • You will be confident receiving inbound and conducting outbound calls
  • Adaptable to change projects at short notice.
  • Sound knowledge of data gathering over the phone
  • A keen eye and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills including report writing skills.
  • You can communicate well by speaking to people face to face / telephone /and in written form.
  • Experience working in a service level driven environment.
  • Willingness to partake in ongoing training to cross-skill
