Data Analyst - Contract

  • 2 days per week in Milton Keynes

You'll be part of a specialist team helping the business make better decisions using a variety of skills, excellent communication, functional awareness and an extensive analytical capability

Role responsibilities

  • Collaborating with others and analysing large unstructured, previously unseen datasets to source and build understanding of relevant data
  • Building advanced SQL scripts to connect data from across our data lake to analyse and validate data mappings
  • Identifying data anomalies and data quality issues and ensuring these are handled or flagged appropriately
  • Choosing and deploying appropriate analytical and statistical techniques to understand issues, identify trends and forecast performance
  • Working with architecture and technical (engineering) teams where required to develop robust, automated solutions for regular data and insights needs
  • Working in an agile manner, ensuring the outputs required are in line with stakeholder expectations and delivered on-time
