- 3+ years+ experience as a SQL Server DBA in a production environment.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server architecture, administration, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server high availability solutions, including clustering, replication, and Always On.
- Advanced knowledge of T-SQL for query optimisation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with database backup, recovery, disaster recovery planning, and strategies.
- Solid understanding of performance tuning methodologies, indexing strategies, and execution plans.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SQL Server Profiler, Extended Events, Performance Monitor, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure SQL Database is a plus.
