Do you have a passion for sourcing trade show and event planning from conception to completion. If so, this could be your next opportunity!

I'm currently recruiting for a passionate Event Planner to work for a leading manufacturing who supply globally. You will plan an array of major exhibitions, award evenings, and other industry specific events. You must have proven experience of day-to-day management of high-profile event schedules, logistics planning, managing the installations and coordinate the onsite graphics. You will also be responsible for the company's internal events such as planning the Christmas party, incentive trips and all expenses paid team building trips abroad.

They are looking for a robust, engaging personality who exudes confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise and coordinate trade shows, award evenings and industry specific events
  • Work closely with internal departments to coordinator machine deliveries
  • Manage the event budget
  • Work closely with the Managing Director
  • Negotiate best price for internal events
  • Manage sales and servicing internal events
  • Manage company incentives
  • Manage all compliance and ensure legal and health and safety is adhered to
  • Plan all internal events such as the Christmas party
  • Coordinate all marketing materials, marketing campaigns and social media promotions

What we are looking for:

  • Experienced Event Planner
  • Trade show experience is a must
  • Manufacturing industry knowledge would be beneficial, however other industries may be considered
  • Experience communicating over the phone and through emails
  • Be able to follow processes with high attention to detail
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Thrives on working in a demanding role
  • Pro-active and be able to react to logistical issues that arise
  • A keen interest for technical products
  • in event planning software

Salary:

  • 35,000- £40,000 depending on experience
