Description

Financial Analyst

Analyze production costs, material usage, labor, and overheads to identify variances and provide actionable insights.
Conduct monthly cost variance analysis against budget, forecast, and standard costs.
Partner with operations and supply chain teams to understand manufacturing drivers and variances.
Support the standard costing process and update costs as required within the ERP system.
Assist with the preparation of management accounts, monthly commentary, and financial reporting packs.
Monitor and evaluate inventory valuation, stock provisions, and work-in-progress balances.
Collaborate on the preparation of budgets and forecasts with detailed cost assumptions and justifications.
Prepare capex business cases and post-investment appraisals.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost control and process efficiencies.
Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful 'Accounts Receivable Analyst' should have/be

Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is essential.
Strong understanding of cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
Proficient with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication and business partnering skills

Job Offer
