Job Purpose
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, working closely with Audit Directors and Senior Managers to ensure service excellence
  • Schedule appropriate staff to conduct audit assignments
  • Plan audit engagements, lead onsite teams and manage fieldwork
  • Preparation of accounts and tax computations
  • Set budgets and negotiate fees with clients
  • Be a go-to advisor for clients, building professional relationships and adopting a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Oversee junior team members, including managing workflow, reviewing work, and identifying training opportunities
  • Play an active role in business development by attending network events
  • Identify and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function

Job Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA/ or qualified by experience
  • Experience leading external audits from planning to completion
  • Good understanding of UK GAAP
  • Previous client facing experience with good relationship building skills
  • Strong working knowledge of audit and accounting software.
  • IT competent and confident using CaseWare and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Good time management and a positive, can-do attitude
  • A team player who is eager to support the wider team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally
