Job Purpose
  • Provide professional financial advice and oversee a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Lead audits from planning to completion, working closely with the Audit Manager to ensure service excellence
  • Deliver audit files, ensuring technical accuracy at every step
  • Preparation of draft corporation tax computations
  • Preparation of draft statutory accounts and consolidated accounts under FRS102
  • Preparation of larger audit accounts including Limited Companies, Partnerships and LLPs
  • Draft recommendations to management following audit fieldwork completion
  • Work closely with Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
  • Oversee junior team members, including managing workflow, reviewing work, and identifying training opportunities
  • Identify and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function
  • Be a go-to advisor for clients, building professional relationships and adopting a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Support business development for the firm, identifying new service lines for your portfolio
  • Undertake adhoc duties where and when required

Job Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, part qualified or studying
  • A proven track record overseeing the audit function with UK practice
  • Solid understanding of UK audit regulations and adept at leading audits from planning to completion
  • Experience of pension schemes, LLPs, FCA and charities is highly desirable
  • Good time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
  • Previous supervisory experience with great people management skills
  • A commercial mindset and eagerness to support business growth
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude towards workload with the ability to multi-task
  • A team player who is self-motivated and eager to support the wider team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally
