Butler Rose is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an Audit Supervisor to join a dynamic team at a highly respected Top 50 accountancy practice with offices in Milton Keynes. The Role:

As an Audit Supervisor, you will play a key role in the growth and success of the firm's audit division.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading audits under the guidance of a Manager or Principal.
  • Managing on-site audit teams and overseeing the audit process from planning to completion.
  • Preparing management letters and ensuring audits meet the highest standards.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members to support their development.
  • Assisting Audit Managers with delegated tasks, including file reviews and planning.

The firm works with a variety of clients, including mid-corporates, SMEs, UK subsidiaries of overseas parents, and specialist audits for sectors such as pensions, charities, solicitors, and FCA-regulated entities.

About You:The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications and skills:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 2 years of audit experience in a UK accountancy firm.
  • IT proficiency and familiarity with computerised audit packages.
  • A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

The Benefits:This full-time hybrid role (Monday to Friday) offers an excellent remuneration package, including:

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Annual Christmas bonus equivalent to 1 week's salary.
  • Private Medical Insurance (after 3 months) and a Death in Service scheme (4x salary).
  • Group Income Protection Scheme (non-contributory) after 3 months.
  • 25 days of annual leave (pro-rata), with 3 days allocated for Christmas/New Year closure.
  • Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme (5% employer, 3% employee contribution).
