Butler Rose is supporting a global brand based in Milton Keynes with the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner focusing on commercial projects.
An exciting opportunity for a dynamic Finance Business Partner to join a cutting-edge team. The role focuses on extensive business partnering with heads of operational departments, ranging from technical to marketing. This position is crucial for financial planning activities, covering both Opex and Capex projects and right at the epicentre of strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely financial reports to budget holders and present information in regular meetings.
- Ensure high forecasting accuracy for business plans and long-term forecasts.
- Offer financial support for new commercial opportunities and business case justifications.
- Review performance and cost/benefit ratios for commercial and capital projects.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with budget holders based on mutual respect and trust.
- Ensure compliance with Group Controlling guidelines and manage the CAPEX approval process.
- Prepare and distribute detailed monthly Management Accounts.
- Act as a conduit between budget holders and HR for personnel cost project reporting and financial planning.
- Handle month-end closing activities, including cost and revenue review, trend analysis, and CAPEX updates.
The ideal candidate will be CIMA/ACCA qualified with experience in any of following industry sectors - aerospace / engineering / manufacturing or motorsport. You excel in both detailed analysis and high-level communication, possessing a strategic mindset and a commitment to accuracy. You're proactive in problem-solving and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
