A well-established and growing company based in Milton Keynes, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join their finance team. This hybrid role offers the perfect balance of office-based and remote working, making it ideal for a part-qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts, providing financial insights to support business decisions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior finance team members, ensuring high standards of work and professional development.
  • Conduct variance analysis, identifying key trends and areas of concern, and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
  • Identify and implement improvements in financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry changes.

Key Requirements:

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), actively working towards full qualification.
  • Will have supervisory experience leading a small to medium team.
  • Proven experience in a finance or management accounting role, ideally within a medium to large organization.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software and Excel, with experience in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Experience in supervising or mentoring junior team members is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
