Main Responsibilities as a Head of Schedule

  • Define and implement the program’s scheduling strategy and framework.
  • Oversee the development, maintenance and monitoring of the integrated program schedule.
  • Collaborating with other departments to integrate scheduling activities, address conflicts and ensure alignment.
  • Provide regular schedule updates and reports to senior management and government stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, standards and best practices in project scheduling and planning.
  • Owning the relationship with senior government officials, ensuring they know all program schedules and activities to date.
  • Coaching a small team of planners, fostering high performance and professional growth.
  • Support the execution of the delivery strategy, focusing on creating the right environment, aligning with the future of the rail industry and developing a digital spine.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in project scheduling and planning on large-scale infrastructure projects in the public sector is essential.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Experience using Primavera P6 is essential.
  • Experience in the Rail or Public Transport sector would be preferred.
