We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the integration strategy and governance activities for the SATCOM Programme as part of the Skynet 6 initiative. You will play a critical role in managing the integration processes within the SATCOM Engineering Design Authority (SEDA) team, contributing to the successful delivery of a major public sector program.
Experience in SATCOM is desirable, but not a must-have!
Key Responsibilities:* Develop and maintain the SATCOM Programme's Integration Policy and Strategy documentation.* Provide expert guidance and support to various SATCOM projects regarding integration.* Oversee programme-level integration activities, ensuring effective governance across the programme and project areas.* Plan and manage integration assurance activities to ensure the system is thoroughly verified and validated.
Skills & Experience Required:* Proven experience in managing integration activities for large, complex systems.* Strong track record in developing integration strategies and ensuring governance is in place for their adoption.* Experience in managing assurance activities, particularly around system verification and validation.* Knowledge of the full Systems Engineering lifecycle (e.g., INCOSE, ISO/IEC 15288).* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to liaise across technical and non-technical teams.
Desirable:* UK Developed Vetting Clearance (DV) is a plus.* Knowledge of Satellite and Military Communication Systems.* Familiarity with MOD practices such as KiD and GEAR.* Experience in Integrated Test, Evaluation, and Acceptance (ITEA) activities.* Prior experience integrating, testing, and accepting services in military domains (e.g., Land, Maritime).
