I am searching for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join a specialist civil engineering and energy company that is going through a significant growth period. This role will be responsible for overseeing H&S across the business, working with multiple stakeholders and supporting the business to have all policies, processes, and procedures in place to grow.
The Role:
- Creation, Implementation & regular reviewing of Health & Safety policies, procedures, and rules, and ensuring regulations adhere to
- Maintaining company accreditations across HSEQ
- Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated, and recommended improvements implemented across the business
- Working with external health & safety consultants when required for the provision of training programs and health and safety services
- Participate in monthly meetings to report on relevant health & safety matters in operations and all other parts of the business
- Collect, review and report data across health & safety to identify trends and suggest business improvements.
The Candidate:
- 3 years plus experience working in Health & Safety
- NEBOSH qualified,
- Previous experience working in groundworks, energy or construction industry
- Happy to work independently or as part of a team
- Coach/Mentoring approach to health & safety
