In this role you will:•    Support the Head of Health and Safety, to deliver on Scania’s vision of becoming the best in class for our industry. •    Development and review of risk assessments and safe systems of work for our core operational activities as well as our non-routine business.•    Monitoring of our accident & incident reporting system with investigations undertaken as required.•    Create weekly and monthly statistic reports, presenting your findings in the weekly health and safety update. •    Monitor existing and new contractors, including their conduct and credentials. •    Review, improve and create health and safety processes and systems of work.•    Consult and liaise with the workforce and senior management on H&S matters.

About you:

•    NEBOSH certified - ideally looking to work toward your NEBOSH Diploma•    Organised – able to simultaneously handle multiple objectives, accurately tracking your key action points, seeing each point through to delivery.•    Diligent – working with excellent attention to detail, in all that you do. •    Confident communicator – able to clearly present and communicate changes, statistics, processes, and updates to stakeholders throughout our network. •    IT literate – able to learn, manage and become the in-house expert across multiple internal health and safety systems. •    Willing to travel – visiting and building relationships with the 40 plus branches throughout the UK network.
