- Operationally manage clinical services to deliver excellent patient care effectively and efficiently
- To manage the setup of new clinical services and maintain service standards throughout the contract
- Project planning and effective communication between Pertemps Medical, NHS Trust/Health Board and clinical teams to ensure service delivery timeframe are met
- Deliver operational key performance indicators agreed within the contract
- Ensure systems are in place to monitor and evaluate performance against service objectives
- Develop and maintain effective communication both within the services and with relevant teams.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the team’s performance and service expansion
- Able to provide/organise “on-call” support to teams as required by the organisation
- To lead and motivate the operational team support (service coordinators) to ensure a high standard of professionalism, efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation in the delivery of patient care
- To support the Clinical Governance Lead with complaint/incident and compliment management following Pertemps Medical Insourcing policy and procedures
- To support the Head of Clinical Services with the operational element of tender submissions e.g. capacity planning/operational setup capabilities.
- To promote Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Health & Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement across the Clinical Services division and the wider Pertemps Medical company.
- To support the ongoing development of the Clinical Services division and future projects e.g., CQC (Care Quality Commission) registration/introduction of digital/patient outcome systems.
