The Role and Ideal Candidate
A degree in Sociology or a related Social Science subject (a recognised teaching qualification is preferred)
Proven experience of teaching Sociology, either through previous roles or training placements
Ability to plan, prepare and deliver stimulating lessons across Key Stages, covering topics such as social stratification, culture and identity, and research methods
Enthusiastic about nurturing pupils critical thinking and analytical skills, and promoting discussion and debate
Committed to fostering an inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils of all abilities and backgrounds
