Our IT services client in Milton Keynes is looking for a passionate Head of People to take ownership of their People & HR function.This is a fantastic opportunity to help guide company culture, support a dynamic leadership team, and drive HR initiatives that will fuel business growth. You'll balance day-to-day HR operations with a strategic focus to enhance employee engagement, performance, and overall workplace experience.What you'll be doing:

  • Partnering with senior leadership on all things People & HR
  • Driving engagement through employee opinion surveys & feedback initiatives
  • Creating compelling job descriptions to attract top talent
  • Talent Acquisition - Lead hands-on recruitment as required and develop onboarding/offboarding processes to optimise employee experience
  • Managing performance & employee relations cases
  • Owning and developing HR policies & documentation
  • Ensuring accurate HR system records & compliance
  • Overseeing onboarding & exit processes
  • Championing EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) initiatives
  • Regularly review employee programmes, staff benefits and packages to ensure competitiveness in the market
  • Ensure the company's values are promoted to strengthen organisational culture
  • Promote eNPS score throughout the organisation
  • Support mental health & wellbeing initiatives
