HRLife are looking to speak to ER focused advisors looking for their next challenge!

Based in Milton Keynes and working as part of a wider, close-knit, supportive HR team, you will be supporting in day-to-day ER issues, utilising your knowledge of employment legislation, policy and best practice to guide and advise and ensure risk is mitigated.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing advice to managers for more complex ER cases which will include a range of issues
  • Identifying, assessing, managing, resolving and mitigating risk.
  • Case management; supporting them through to early conciliation and employment tribunal.
  • Creating and delivering face to face and virtual training of HR related matters including Investigations, Disciplinary, Grievance, Appeals and UK Employment Legislation.
  • Creating documentation showing 'what good looks like’ for training and development purposes around key HR subjects.
  • Ensuring policies and procedures support best ER practice.

Previous experience of working in a multi-site or blue-collar environment is a must, as is a track record of dealing with high volume, complex ER cases. You’ll be:

  • Comfortable dealing with complete ER cases, Subject Access Requests, preparing documents for employment tribunals.
  • Ideally CIPD level 5 qualified.
  • Highly tenacious and resilient, flexible to change in demands.
  • Confident in taking ownership of issues to resolution in a timely manner.
  • Not shying away from having difficult conversations.
  • An excellent communicator able to adapt and build rapport/provide advice to all level.
  • An active listener who is naturally inquisitive and able coach people to reach a resolution.

Hybrid working - 3 days office in Milton Keynes, 2 at home
