ICAEW is seeking a dedicated Finance Systems Analyst to join our Finance Systems team for 12 months. Overall purpose of this role of Finance Systems Analyst
To contribute towards maintaining our reputation for excellence by providing a responsive and professional service to ensure that we maintain the highest possible quality of information within Finance systems.
Finance Systems Analyst Responsibilities include:
System Administration
- Perform day-to-day administration and monitoring across the portfolio of finance systems for ICAEW, its subsidiaries and associates
- Develop and maintain system guides and checklists.
- Document and maintain system customisations and workflows.
- Act as the primary contact for financial matters related to products and pricing.
- Liaise with wider business teams to ensure data held is accurate and up to date at all times.
Customer Support
- Lead in resolving cases raised via the IT helpdesk.
- Act as a contact point for escalations to the IT department.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
Data & Integrations
- Manage data imports, cleansing, de-duplication, and maintenance.
- Maintain finance system data structures and communicate changes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system integrations.
System Optimisation
- Support the Finance Systems Manager with projects, change requests and BAU D365 CRM development sprints.
- Liaise with users to analyse and specify system changes.
- Translate user requirements into functional specifications.
- Develop user manuals and provide training.
- Support new system implementations or upgrades.
- Create testing schedules and support users during testing.
- Proactively help users utilise system functionality.
Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business.
Finance Systems Analyst Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in system administration, preferably within a finance environment.
- Strong understanding of finance systems and data management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with NAV / Business Central, D365 CRM and other finance-related software is a plus.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends.
