An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Team Leader  to join my client, you will provide an efficient and smooth service and excellent garment care to customers, following  best practice and routines, in line with set targets for service, efficiency, cost & sustainability.

In Autumn 2019 my client opened the group’s first OMNI channel Logistics Centre in Milton Keynes – the centre employs over 1,000 ambitious, committed and motivated colleagues who share the company values and take responsibility for all the daily distribution and Logistics operation for the UK/IE online and over 250 stores

About the role:

You will lead manage and organise  a team and support management in maximizing operational excellence, quality, and efficiency / productivity by proactive analysis of logistics processes and management of workflows.

Dependent on your department; leading a team responsible for retail store allocation & replenishment and online picking, pick location storage and replenishment, packing, potential future outbound VAS, and shipping to fulfil customer expectations

Responsibilities

• Secure efficiency and smooth operations in cost-efficient way

• Ensure inbound of planned qty. and correct storage of products

• Guarantee optimal product availability and picking

• Understand core features of systems in WH

• Identify risks and issues within the team and support

What we would like from you:

• Good operational DC inbound and outbound experience to effectively lead operations of a team

• Understanding of DC processes and garment flow

• Good understanding of warehouse management system

• Knowledgeable in operational inbound and outbound logistics standards, as well as department sustainability targets

• Strong communication and coordination skills
