We are recruiting on behalf of a vibrant secondary school in Stroud seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact on students' language learning journeys and become part of a positive school community. This role is to start in April and is a part-time position continuing until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging French lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. You will be joining a well-established languages department with excellent resources and support from experienced colleagues. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students, develop their language skills, and foster a passion for French language and culture.
Key Responsibilities:-
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality French lessons in line with the curriculum.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to achieve their best.

Collaborate with the languages department and contribute to departmental planning and initiatives.

QTS and a degree in French or a related field.

Experience teaching French at the secondary level, with confidence in both KS3 and KS4.

A commitment to engaging students and a passion for the subject.

Ability to create tailored lessons to support varying learning needs and abilities.

Capable of working effectively with students, staff, and parents.
