We are recruiting on behalf of a vibrant secondary school in Stroud seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join their team. About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging French lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. You will be joining a well-established languages department with excellent resources and support from experienced colleagues. Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality French lessons in line with the curriculum.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to achieve their best.

  • Collaborate with the languages department and contribute to departmental planning and initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:
  • QTS and a degree in French or a related field.

  • Experience teaching French at the secondary level, with confidence in both KS3 and KS4.

  • A commitment to engaging students and a passion for the subject.

  • Ability to create tailored lessons to support varying learning needs and abilities.
