JOB TITLE: LEGAL ADMINISTRATOR

SALARY: £26,000 - £30,000

HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To provide effective support services to the firm. Duties will include:

  • Draft closing documents and assist solicitors with a broad range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, drafting new leases, lease renewals, developments, deeds, affidavits, settlement statements, and closing disclosures.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare detailed summaries and reports.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Manage and coordinate due diligence processes.
  • Maintain accurate and organised case files, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of documents for real estate closings, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in real estate transactions.
  • Assist in the formation and maintenance of entities related to real estate holdings, including drafting operating agreements and resolutions.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date case files, including electronic records in the document management system.
  • Assist with post-closing matters, including finalising documents, updating records, and resolving any outstanding issues.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Administrator, Paralegal, Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, preferably in a busy environment

  • Knowledge of telecommunications or Digital Infrastructure is desirable but not essential

  • Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents
  • Confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels
  • Excellent academics and strong ambition for career development
  • Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills with the ability to develop contacts for the team and the firm
  • Team player
  • Negotiation skills
  • Organisational ability
