This company is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment, ensuring that all employees feel valued and supportedYour new roleAs the Procurement Director, you will lead and develop a team of specialists responsible for procurement activities across various categories, including works, services, and supplies. You will oversee the entire procurement process, ensuring transparency, competitiveness, and compliance with regulatory standards. Your role will involve developing and implementing procurement processes, tools, and templates, and managing pre-qualification and tendering processes. You will champion key government policies and manage cross-disciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes. Additionally, you will provide commercial advice, manage risks, lead high-value negotiations, and support the Contract Management Team.What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive experience in senior procurement roles, particularly within the public sector / regulated industry
  • Strong knowledge of Public Procurement Regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and project management abilities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement and supply chain management software.
  • Experience with collaborative contracting and alliancing arrangements is desirable.
