Our client is in a period of substantial growth and are looking for an ambitious and experienced Production and planning Manager. Leading a team of three production staff, the successful candidate will help further accelerate the business.

By managing the production plan and workflow efficiencies, the Production and Planning manager will have oversight of the production output.

The Production and Planning Manager will work alongside our Product & Brand, Inventory & Planning and logistics teams co-operatively to ensure they maximise product range and availability.

The role is working full time 37.5 hours per week, standard hours between 8am - 4.15pm (some extended shifts may be required dependent on order volumes).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand and manage tasks and works to be carried out daily by the team
  • Take ownership of existing and future works orders
  • Ensure all machinery is working efficiently
  • Take ownership of machinery maintenance with supplier
  • Maintain a safe, hazard free and clean work environment
  • Good IT skills including MS office: Excel, Word, Outlook

Requirements

  • Experience of managing a manufacturing or product assembly production line
  • Production line experience
  • Methodical approach and the ability to investigate problems in a logical manner
  • Team management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, resourceful can-do attitude
