We are recruiting for a Production and Planning Manager to join our client based in Milton Keynes

Working Hours 37.5 hours per week. Standard hours between 8am - 4.15pm (some extended shifts may be required dependent on order volumes)

Scope:

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Production manager to oversee the production facility.

Leading a team of three across three assembly machines, the successful candidate will help us further accelerate the business by managing our production plan and work-flow efficiencies.

The Production and Planning manager will oversee production output and will work alongside Product & Brand, Inventory & Planning and logistics teams co-operatively to ensure maximisation of the product range and availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand and manage tasks and works to be carried out daily by the team • Take ownership of existing and future works orders • Take ownership of machinery maintenance with supplier• Maintain a safe, hazard free and clean work environment • Good IT skills including MS office: Excel, Word, Outlook• Ensure all machinery is working efficiently

Skills and background needed:

• Manufacturing & production background • Product assembly knowledge • Team management • Understanding of cycling products and cycling (desirable)
