Location: Milton Keynes

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer to join a leading European Technical Centre. The company is a global market leader in industrial automation technology, offering innovative and high-quality solutions to its customers worldwide.

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated engineer to provide top-tier technical support to customers, European subsidiaries, and global headquarters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting product testing for customers
  • Assisting in product development activities
  • Responding to technical inquiries from subsidiaries
  • Investigating product claims and issues
  • Preparing various technical documents and reports
  • Developing and delivering technical training
  • Conducting market research
  • Supporting new product launches

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree (2:2 minimum) in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
  • A willingness to learn basic Electrical Engineering principles
  • Experience in writing technical reports
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
  • The ability to work within a multicultural team
  • A valid passport (occasional European travel required)
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills

Desirable Skills (Not Essential):

  • Knowledge of temperature control equipment design and operation
  • Experience in designing mechanical components or assemblies for industrial machinery
  • Ability to plan and manage projects independently
  • Customer and supplier interaction experience
  • LabView knowledge
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Additional European language skills
