  • Our client is seeking a Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronic Engineer for a permanent position.
  • Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or Electromechanical with a minimum 2:2 classification and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • The role involves providing technical support, investigating product claims, and creating technical documentation, with a salary offered at £35,000 to £45,000 per year.
  • Applicants must be willing to learn basic electrical engineering principles and have experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
  • Fluency in English and a valid passport for European travel are required, with additional desirable skills including experience in temperature control equipment design and knowledge of LabView.

Our client is a well-established, global market leader and has a permanent vacancy Mechanical, Electromechanical or Mechatronic Engineer.

You will be required to deliver the very best technical support to customers. Within the role, you will be required to support with technical inquiries, investigate product claims, testing of products for customers or other subsidiaries, creation of various technical documentation, identify, develop and deliver training, perform market research.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or Electromechanical degree, 2:2 minimum
  • A willingness to learn Basic Electrical Engineering principles.
  • Experience of writing technical reports.
  • SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
  • Ability to work as part of a multicultural team.
  • A valid in date passport, as there will be some European travel in the role.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.

Desirable:

  • Experience with design and principle of operation of temperature control equipment.
  • Experience of designing mechanical components or assemblies for industrial machinery.
  • Experience of planning and managing own projects.
  • Experience of working with customers and suppliers.
  • LabView
  • A driving licence, permitting you to drive in the UK European language skills.
  • Japanese language skills.
  • Technical training experience.
