Logistics Coordinator Permanent Milton Keynes, Fully Office Based£35,000 per annumMy client is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to play a dual role in managing client interactions while ensuring accurate inventory control. This position is responsible for proactively managing orders, resolving queries, and optimizing inventory levels to enhance warehouse efficiency and minimize delays. This Logistics Coordinator role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong attention to detail, and collaboration with multiple departments to maintain order accuracy, inventory integrity, and smooth logistics operations. Reporting plays an integral part in this role. Logistics Coordinator Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all Client inquiries via email and telephone, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Manage order processing with a focus on the highest level of order accuracy.
  • Proactively communicate with Client and internal teams to provide real-time updates on orders, anticipate potential issues, and take pre-emptive action to resolve them.
  • Manage customs documentation, track and oversee shipments from multiple locations, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any logistical issues.
  • Provide quarterly reporting of inventory levels.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Deliver strategic insights and actionable reports to stakeholders, identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement in inventory management and order processing.

Logistics Coordinator required Skills & Competencies

  • Understanding of logistics operations, including shipping coordination, warehouse workflows, and customs compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and order processing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems
  • Strong in Excel, with at least a sufficient level of understanding of basic formulas (training provided). Power BI, Tableau, or SQL experience is desired but not mandatory, as the company offers training where required.
  • Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently.
