An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a thriving Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Milton Keynes on a temporary/supply basis. This Music Teacher role is available from Easter until the end of the academic year, offering a 0.8 contract (4 days per week)-ideal for a professional seeking a balanced and rewarding teaching opportunity.

As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their musical skills and appreciation. You will be joining a supportive department committed to fostering creativity and excellence in music education.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging Music lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Teach across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students make strong progress in their musical development.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school music program, including extracurricular activities where possible.


Requirements:

To be considered for this Music Teacher position, candidates should have:

  • UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - ideally.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Previous experience teaching Music in UK secondary schools.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Music curriculum.
  • A passion for music education and the ability to inspire students.
