This is a really exciting opportunity to lead HR for a progressive, entrepreneurial Tech firm based in Milton Keynes. They offer a strong salary and benefits package with on site parking, the role will give you the opportunity to drive the people strategy on site working with senior leaders and then being operationally hands on to deliver, there is the opportunity to progress in the future due to the exciting acquisition plans they have.

DUTIES

  • Form strong relationships with the Senior Leaders of the business, developing the strategic people plan and executing. Supported by the Centre of Excellence team.
  • You will be responsible for a broad generalist remit and everything from engagement, talent, development, ER and disciplinary, performance as well as recruitment, comp and bens and projects.
  • You will manage all HR initiatives, advise and coach managers with best practice and support their team structures, development, workforce planning and solutions.
  • You will be happy working with ambiguity and change as the business grows and develops, currently a smaller business with plans to grow.
  • Drive culture and values, work with global teams and design and implement new initiatives.
  • This role will give you the opportunity to think outside the box, be creative and put your stamp on it
  • You will report in to the Head of People and Culture who will support and guide, but equally you will be left to work autonomously.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Your background will be within an HR role previously, either a HRBP or HR Manager role, or you may be a Senior HR Advisor looking to step up in a smaller business.
  • You will have strong UK employment law knowledge and UK practices, be able to lead projects and gain credibility across the Senior Leadership team.
  • Strategic experience, maybe leading projects, or working with senior leaders is key
  • Ideally you will come from a smaller sized business, maybe in the tech space or something similar that is fast paced and constantly changing.
  • You will have a generalist HR background and exposure to all elements of HR, the ability to work on your own and able to come up with complex solutions.
  • You'll be a strong communicator and enjoy building relationships
