Role Purpose:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team.

In this role, you will work closely with the Payroll Manager to provide essential payroll administration support within our Finance department.

You will ensure the smooth and accurate processing of payroll and assist with various payroll-related tasks and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the accuracy of monthly payroll input.
  • Set up payments for advances, floats, HMRC, and other payroll-related payments.
  • Support the Payroll Manager with overall company payroll processing.
  • Provide payroll information to our external payroll provider as per agreed timelines.
  • Prepare payroll reports, draft changes, and process related journals.
  • Manage benefits payments, including healthcare, pensions, and company vehicles.
  • Sign off on monthly payroll in the absence of the Payroll Manager.
  • Reconcile payroll-related General Ledger accounts, such as salary deductions.
  • Supply payroll data to external sources like Unions, HMRC, and CMS.
  • Resolve stakeholder queries and escalate to managers when needed.
  • Assist with starter and leaver procedures for the Jungheinrich Stakeholder Pension Plan.
  • Provide accurate pension data based on deductions for the Jungheinrich Stakeholder Pension Plan.

Additional Responsibilities:

You may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager or Head of Finance.

Role Requirements:

?? Proven experience in a dedicated payroll position.

?? CIPP qualification or equivalent (or willingness to work toward this qualification).
