About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide specialist occupational therapy input within the Brainkind neurobehavioural model to individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI). This role involves working closely with internal teams, external professionals, families, and individuals we support.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Practice:

  1. Deliver neurological rehabilitation using evidence-based, service-user-centered principles under the guidance of a senior OT.
  2. Manage and prioritise a caseload with complex mental/physical health needs and challenging behaviours.
  3. Develop and evaluate personalised treatment plans to improve occupational performance in areas like self-care, productivity, and leisure.
  4. Support rehabilitation support workers by delegating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans.
  5. Conduct detailed risk assessments and communicate findings effectively with the team.
     

Leadership:

  1. Manage workloads, set priorities, and optimise resources with senior OT supervision.
  2. Promote health, safety, and security in the workplace, while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  3. Advocate for the occupational therapy profession and Brainkind by building partnerships across organisations.
  4. Contribute to clinical governance, quality assurance, and organisational development initiatives.
