About the Role:

Dunbar Education is looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work in a variety of primary schools across Milton Keynes. Whether you are seeking flexible daily supply work, short-term cover, or long-term placements, we have opportunities to suit your availability.

Role Overview:

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum. You will step into classrooms as required, ensuring a positive learning environment and maintaining continuity in students' education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons or adapt teaching to meet students' needs.
  • Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
  • Follow school policies on behaviour management and safeguarding.
  • Work flexibly across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, depending on your preference and experience.
  • Provide constructive feedback and complete marking where required for longer-term placements.
  • Collaborate with support staff and senior leadership where necessary.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
