My school is seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school starting immediately after Easter. This maternity cover position offers a potential pathway to a permanent role. The opportunity is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to contribute to a dynamic teaching environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that adhere to the national curriculum standards.
- Assess and record students’ progress, preparing reports and communicating results to parents and school management.
- Foster a positive, stimulating classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
- Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school’s community spirit.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching Year 4 or similar age groups is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and current teaching methods.
