T2M are recruiting for a Programme Manager to join a growing technology and manufacturing business to lead their project and programme management team.
As Programme Manager, this role partners with software, technical and engineering teams to deliver customer projects involving controls/applications software development, hardware engineering, and manufacturing.
Duties of the Programme Manager:
- Business partnering with Head of Software and Controls as well as engineering leaders and teams.
- Working with engineering and production teams to deliver projects.
- Deliver projects and programmes on time and within budget, meeting customer requirements.
- Leading daily stand-ups as part of scum processes.
- Providing frameworks and tools for engineers and developers to work efficiently.
- Managing customers and internal stakeholders.
- Reporting on project updates, timelines, and risks.
- Evaluate commercial and financial opportunity.
- Support commercial teams in project scoping and budgeting.
Requirements to be successful as a Programme Manager:
- Prince 2 Practitioner and/or similar qualification such as MSP.
- Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices.
- Engineering or technical degree level qualification.
- Previous experience of leading R&D, controls/applications software development, hardware engineering projects.
- Experience as a Scrum Master would be beneficial
- Clear and confident communicator/presenter at all levels of business.
- Commercial and business acumen.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
This role is based in Milton Keynes however will also require some travel in the UK, therefore a UK driving license is essential.
