Health and Safety Manager

Are you an experienced health and safety manager from the utilities sector looking for an autonomous role, reporting at board level?

Do you want to work for a massively growing company who are disrupting the status quo in the electricity connections market?

This company are a leading IDNO who due to recent investment and financial backing are seeing a period of substantial on-going growth. They have established themselves at the forefront of the market and are now poised to capitalise on that as they drive forward with their strategic business plan. Due to this ongoing growth and demand they are looking to bring in a Health and Safety Manager to help drive a health and safety culture within the business

In this role, you will be based from home but will be expected to travel to project sites across the UK, as well as attending the Milton Keynes office once a week. You will be responsible for providing health and safety expertise across the business and embedding a culture of HSE within the organisation. You will lead a small team, mentoring a junior member of staff, to develop HSE strategies, ensuring industry standards are met, and investigating any non compliance or incidents. As the company continues to grow, the team will look to expand giving you the opportunity to build a successful team around you.

The Role:
*Hybrid working, with some time spent from home, from the office, and traveling to customer sites across England and Wales
*Mentor a more junior member of the team

The Person:
*Strong background in health and safety
*Experience within the utilities sector
