Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Package
Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor with experience in the social housing sector? Join a leading Tier 1 Property Services Contractor in Milton Keynes, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering planned works within the social housing sector.
The Role:As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of various planned maintenance projects. You will work closely with the project team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of accurate cost estimates and tender documentation
- Managing subcontractor accounts and negotiations
- Monitoring and controlling project costs
- Preparing valuations and applications for payment
- Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and the project delivery team
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the social housing or property services sector
- Knowledge of planned maintenance and refurbishment works
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000
