Senior GeoEnvironmental Engineer

Our client a Structural, Civil and Geoenvironmental company based in Milton Keynes are looking for a Senior GeoEnvironmental Engineer to work from their office with hybrid working options. This opportunity would help accelerate an Engineers career by working with a well-established team within a continuously organically growing team and will be rewarded with a competitive salary up to 48,000 as well as 25 days holiday, flexi working, Healthcare and Life insurance

• Produce designs using hand calculations or design software.
• Follow design standards including British Standards, Eurocodes, CIRIA, BRE, and NHBC.
• Ensure designs comply with internal QMS procedures and checking protocols.
• Manage projects of all sizes, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Contribute to fee proposals and develop site investigation scopes.
• Lead site investigations from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with professionals and contractors as needed.
• Liaise with clients and design teams to meet project briefs, attending meetings as required.
• Work independently on smaller projects or collaboratively on larger schemes.
• Mentor less experienced team members.

• Completion of Degree in relevant Engineering subject
• Minimum 5 years' experience working in similar engineering consultancy
• Chartered geologist, Engineer or Scientist. Or working towards
• Proficient in the use of software such as technical design packages including SlopeW (or similar), Holebase etc.
• Proficient in foundation design and recommendations, earthworks, slope stability, and contaminated land risk assessment including remediation, DQRA etc
• CAT & Genny competence trained
• QGIS
• Full driving licence and use of a car

• Salary 40,000 - 48,000 (dependent on experience)
