Roles and responsibilities

  • Find ways to relay the curriculum to students in KS3, KS4 or KS5
  • Plan work in accordance with departmental schemes of work and online curriculum
  • Take account of pupils’ prior levels of attainment and use them to set future target
  • Mark and return work set, including homework within an agreed and reasonable time frames
  • Monitor and set targets for the social and academic progress of all pupils
  • Endeavour to build  good relationships with the students, so there is mutual respect

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a Degree and QTS Desirable (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
  • Be a committed team player
  • Be confident and adaptable to different environments
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • Be able to deliver lessons in a fun and engaging way that students can relate to
  • Be able to commute to Buckinghamshire
