Are you an experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HTLA) ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join a thriving and inclusive school in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, support, and inspire children with special educational needs (SEN) while contributing to their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver small group or individual learning activities tailored to students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning challenges.
  • Support classroom teachers by implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and differentiating resources for diverse learning needs.
  • Take responsibility for supervising classes and leading learning activities in the teacher’s absence.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student independence and self-confidence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor and assess progress, ensuring the best outcomes for each child.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an HTLA or a similar role, ideally working with SEN students.
  • Strong knowledge of strategies and interventions to support children with Autism, ADHD, and other needs.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the classroom.
