Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (SEN Support)
Placement Type: Temp to Perm / Permanent
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £95-£105 per day (aligned with the Support Staff PayScale)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team, providing essential support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with teaching staff to support students with SEN in their learning and development.
- Assist in implementing personalised learning plans and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Provide in-class support and one-to-one assistance as required.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents/carers.
About You
- Relevant SEN experience is essential.
- Experience in a support staff role within an educational setting is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and patient approach to working with young people.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
