We’re looking for a Scheme Manager to join our friendly and supportive team. You’ll play a key role in making sure our leasehold retirement scheme is a safe, welcoming, and well-managed place for residents. From helping new residents settle in, to making sure health and safety checks are up to date, you’ll be at the heart of everything that happens on-site.

In this position, you will live in our property at a reduced rent. The property on offer is detached with a garage, includes two bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor, two reception rooms, kitchen, downstairs toilet and a small garden at the front. At this scheme there are 40 flats and bungalows which are leased by our residents. You'll work 30 hours per week.

Your role covers all aspect of housing management - you'll support new residents to feel confident and comfortable in their new surroundings. You'll promote safety, health, and wellbeing of all residents with regular checks and by responding to concerns. You'll also need to be able to handle complaints with care and ensure that issues are resolved promptly.

To be success in this role, you’re:

  • A people-person with excellent communication skills and a team player.
  • Experienced working in housing or leasehold management.
  • Knowledgeable of housing scheme management and budgeting.
  • Someone who can stay calm under pressure, organised, and flexible when needed.
  • A good understanding of health and safety, and the needs of older people.
  • IT-savvy with good admin skills (Microsoft Office knowledge is a bonus!).
  • You can live in and receive a subsidised rent!
