Skills & Qualifications Needed:

Proven experience in working with children or young people with behavioural challenges (e.g., in a school, residential, or youth setting)

Strong communication and de-escalation skills

Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with students who require additional support

Knowledge of behavioural management strategies and the ability to apply them effectively

Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to create a consistent support network for students

Suitable Backgrounds Include:

Previous roles such as teaching assistant, youth worker, learning mentor, SEN support, or social work

Professional training or experience in mental health, special educational needs, or social care
