About the Role
Pertemps Medical is proud to partner with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) in delivering high-quality healthcare assessments. We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Nurse to conduct telephone-based pre-assessments for overseas candidates applying to join the Royal Navy & Royal Marines.

This position would be suitable for a Band 7 Nurse with excellent all-round knowledge and ideally previous medical assessment experience.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct telephone assessments with overseas candidates (each assessment lasts approximately 45 minutes).
  • Schedule and manage assessments efficiently using Microsoft office.
  • Review overseas eye-test results to determine suitability or request additional information/re-tests (full training provided).
  • Documenting assessment outcomes in the system with accuracy (full training provided).
  • Ensure strict adherence to MoD policies and procedures.
  • Work flexible shifts (including day and evening screenings) to accommodate global time zones.


Person Specification:
We are looking for a highly skilled and professional Band 7 Nurse with:
  • Extensive clinical and medical assessment experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High clinical standards and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM systems, and Microsoft Teams.
